Job Description:  

QUALIFICATION MPhil or Master’s degree in Economics, Education, Social Sciences, or a related field EXPERIENCE Minimum 5 years in research, data analysis, or programme evaluation. Proven track record of managing research projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan, design, and conduct quantitative and qualitative research projects within the system. Create surveys, interview protocols, FGD guides, and other research instruments tailored to project needs. Use statistical software and visualization tools to clean, analyze, and interpret data for actionable insights. Prepare concise, visually engaging reports and presentations for decision-makers using tools such as Excel and Canva. Engage with senior leadership, school heads, and external research partners to ensure project alignment and timely delivery. Establish and maintain collaborations with external researchers, academic institutions, and research networks. Lead the development, review, and submission of research proposals for internal and external funding opportunities.

SKILLS REQUIRED Strong expertise in quantitative and qualitative educational research, including survey/interview design, data analysis, and reporting. Proficient in Excel, analytical tools, and Canva with excellent communication skills. Experienced in managing multiple projects, liaising with senior leadership, and ensuring high accuracy and ethical standards.
