Job Description:
Position: Assistant Manager HR
Location: IQRA University, Main Campus, Karachi
Eligibility Criteria: Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Strong understanding of performance management principles and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data.
Proficiency in HRMS and performance management software.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The position will play a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and management of the university’s performance management system. This position involves collaborating with faculty and staff to enhance employee performance, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and support strategic objectives through effective performance evaluations and feedback mechanisms.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design performance measurement frameworks that reflect key educational metrics, focusing on both academic and administrative roles.
Continuously monitor and revise the performance evaluation program to align with organizational needs.
Conduct interviews, manager’s meetings, and research to refine and update job descriptions for existing and new positions.
Facilitate meetings with departments to finalize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and enter them into the HRMS system.
Generate and manage annual performance appraisals and ensure timely completion.
Review and ensure compliance of employee contracts, employment agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other HR-related documents.
Engage in research and development regarding organizational policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with HR management’s guidance.
Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in coordination with various departments.
Identify skills gaps through performance assessments and recommend targeted training and development programs to CPLE.
