Position Summary:


The incumbent is responsible to plan and develop overall marketing and growth marketing strategies for the bank. Also, the incumbent is responsible for all decisions, strategy, operations and targets pertaining to marketing, brand management, digital marketing, media, activations, trade, research, marketing growth strategy and marketing operations.

Key Responsibilities:


Marketing Strategy & Operations: Develop and execute marketing strategies under brand management, digital marketing and marketing operations for all brands and for the company while managing and developing a best in class marketing department.


Brand Strategy & Operations: Develop, manage and govern: Brand Strategy, Brand Operations and Brand Measurement for Telenor Microfinance Bank ensuring; Brand Marketing Leadership and Influence, Brand Research & Consumer Advocacy and Agency Relations.


Digital Marketing Strategy & Operations: Develop, manage and govern: Digital Marketing Strategy, Digital Marketing Operations and Digital Marketing Measurement for Telenor Microfinance Bank. Develop and execute Digital Retail Channel, Digital Service Center, and Digital Distribution on all Digital Assets. Create breakthrough digital marketing ideas and website/App experiences that make Telenor Microfinance Bank and our family of brands stand out from our competitors in a rapidly changing digital world.


IMC, Media Strategy & Activation & Trade Operations: The incumbent is responsible for media vehicle strategy, marketing mix strategy for ATL, BTL, OOH & operational management of advertising related to TV, radio, cinema, print, activations & outdoor advertising including deployment on trade channel.


Marketing Budget Management: Ensure optimized budget management on multiple variables including but not limited to: Productions, Airing, Agency costs, CPI, CPM, CPA, CPTA, Sales/Opex etc.


Digital Growth Strategy & Operations: Lead growth marketing strategy for the brands to ensure customer acquisition at the top of the funnel to transaction active while ensuring engagement and managing churn on number, throughput and cost variables.


Multiple Agency Management: Manage, develop and grow partner agencies including Creative, Media, Activation, Research, Trade and OOH. Ensure cost optimizations and quality management.


Miscellaneous:



  1. Develop and implement branding, positioning and pricing strategies for Marketing Department in an efficient manner.
  2. Prepare and manage budgets for Marketing on a periodic basis.
  3. Analyze consumer behavior and determine customer personas in an effective manner.
  4. Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share as well as ensure that brand image is strong and consistent across all channels.
  5. Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features) and coordinate with sales and marketing teams to boost brand awareness.
  6. Oversee digital marketing strategy and operations, Martech & Adtech development and execution, CPI, CPM and CPA management, digital spend ROI attribution for product delivery, A/B testing-prototyping of customer funnel sketching, App Store optimization, Website channel management and operations, Digital agency management, Servicing management with CCD on all social media assets.
  7. Develop brand strategy, manage brand operations as well as develop and execute marketing research (BHT).
  8. Provide expert advice/training to the team to enhance skills and capabilities.
  9. Develop and sustain synergy between brand, digital, media, activations and corporate communications.
  10. Carry out any other task assigned by Head of Branchless Banking
  11. Incumbent shall be responsible to adhere by Telenor Microfinance Bank Behaviours in all aspects of his/her work conduct.
  12. Ensure that a culture of risk and compliance management is implemented, and institute performance measures tied to individual risk and compliance responsibilities.
