Position: Executive Fixed Assets

Location:  Corporate Office – Islamabad

Job Objective:

  • Prepare/develop and update policies and procedures regarding management of fixed assets. Responsible for maintaining and providing accurate Fixed Assets database of the Bank its reconciliation with the General Ledger accounts of fixed assets of Corporate Office, Branches etc. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for reviewing existing policies and procedures related to Fixed Assets and develop updates where required.
  • Responsible for identifying, proposing and where approved implement system enhancements in Fixed Assets data base (FAR).
  • Recording and maintaining itemized inventory of Bank wide Fixed Assets of capital nature enabling production of management reports such as category wise list of Fixed Assets, assets held by location etc. 
  • Recording of fixed assets addition, disposal / write off/ sold / lost / theft/transfer items in the FAR.
  • Responsible for preparing reconciliations between General Ledger and FAR modules and ensure expeditious resolution of reconciling items.
  • Responsible for ensuring periodic reconciliation of FAR with the physical inventory held across the Bank in close co-ordination with the Retail/Ops function of the Bank.
  • Responsible for computing accurate monthly depreciations on the fixed assets in accordance with the requirement of the Bank’s accounting system.
  • Responsible for producing periodic tax depreciation schedule for the purpose of computing taxable income of the Bank.     
  • Conduct periodic analysis of economic useful life of the assets deployed by the Bank and identify assets impairment etc and develop management recommendations for corrective actions. 
  • Assist line Manager in tracking CAPEX budget, conduct and report variance analysis.
  • In consultation with the line manager, develop and conduct internal training sessions on Fixed Assets policies and procedures. 
  • Prepare monthly FAR flow statement of cost and accumulated depreciation containing opening balances, additions and deletions during the period and closing balances; prepare monthly statement of Gain/Loss on disposals of fixed assets.
  • Recording of Invoices and processing of payments related to Capex items procured at branches.
  • Charging of Prepaid Insurance Assets, Cash & Gold, Health and Life on monthly basis.
  • Allocation of weighted average cost of capital, premium and Head Office cost to branches and import of bulk on monthly basis.
  • Any relevant task assigned by line manager.

Job Requirements:


  • Preferably a post-graduate degree in Business Administration / Commerce from a reputable university/ACCA/ACMA qualified.


  • Adept in processing and reporting of financial transactions.
  • Good at workload distribution, time management, performance monitoring with strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite. 
  • Exhibits and upholds KMBL’s values and social performance objectives.

Duration and nature of previous experience:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of practical experience in finance and accounts.

Position: Payroll Officer

Location: Corporate Office – Islamabad

Job Objective: 

  • Responsible for supporting the payroll team for processing  of final settlements, monthly payroll  and management of payroll records. 

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:

  • Verify & process monthly reimbursement claims across KMBL network and coordinate with branches for any discrepancies and resolution.  
  • Support the payroll team in monthly payroll process to staff across branch network.
  • Monthly reconciliation of allowances.

Final Settlements:

  • Assist in the calculation and payment of final dues for resigned employees. 
  • Resolves queries related to final settles from HR and ex-employees. 
  • Monthly reconciliation of related account.

Payroll Records & Query Resolution:

  • Maintain payroll files ensuring they are up to date and accurate. 
  • Maintain confidentiality of all compensation & benefit related matters. 
  • Other reconciliations and any tasks assigned by line manager. 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance & Accounts / Business / Commerce from an HEC recognized institution.  


  • Knowledge of basic accounting and various payment systems and scales. 
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Holds no bars against travel and relocation.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, specially in Excel.

Duration and Nature of Previous Experience:

  • At least 1 years of experience in accounting and financial management. Candidates with experience in payroll processing will be given preference.
