Shell Pakistan Jobs Retail Territory Manager

Retail Territory Manager plays a pivotal role in the strategy implementation, with the Retail organization committed to changing the role of Territory Manager to be the “GM of the Territory” in line with the East Charter.

Key accountabilities
End to End accountability for operations and business performance of Retail Forecourts including Fuels and Non Fuel products.
Regain operational control on the forecourts by effectively

Customers:
Develop clear understanding of site wise customer needs and preferences and engage Network, Marketing & Operations for deployment of CVP to address critical customer needs.
Ensure consistent delivery of Customer Commitment by managing contract compliance using the Independent Audits in place
Leverage independent audits, Brand Standards Program and Retail Training program to build capability of Retailers to deliver Customer Commitment

People:
Identify gaps to Retailer competencies and delivery of Customer Commitment; coach, support and advise Retailers with the aid of appropriate tools
Develop Retailer management plans within the Territory ensuring cluster Retailer pipeline is in place through active participation in recruitment and selection processes, and correct allocation of sites
Ensure that the Retailer trains and develops their staff, and understands the importance of People in delivering the Customer Commitment, sharing and coaching on Shell tools and processes as appropriate
Leverage Retail Academy to develop the right organization structure at site level, including business wise managerial staff (Fuels Forecourt, CR, Car Services)
Actively change the role of forecourt staff, working with Partners and internal stakeholders to improve their working conditions
Regularly feed insights to Learning and Operations teams for capability building programs for Retailers and their staff

Shareholder:
Lead the conversion and transition of sites within the territory while optimizing value to Shell through effective negotiations
Operationalize ISR levers at Site Level to drive business growth & deliver T&R plans for the Territory
Develop and implement site wise business plans and monitor progress through structured monthly site visits and structured quarterly business reviews
Own the site level business plan, actively looking for opportunities to grow top line and optimize site operational costs
Continuously develop & implement opportunity pipeline for the territory
Identify opportunities for profitable Retail Network growth within the Territory in line with Growth Strategy as well as managing renewal and disposal of sites within the territory
Actively monitor competition in the area and develop counter strategies to maintain competitiveness and grow Brand Share of Preference in the area
Execute Fuel Pricing strategy for deregulated fuels
Maintain relationships with key external stakeholders within the Territory (Local Administration, Explosives, Police) to develop & sustain Shell as reputable Brand in the area

HSSE:
Develop and maintain a strong HSSE culture within geographical area
Deliver agreed HSSE targets for geographical area
Protect Shell’s interest by ensuring that all HSSE standards and procedural compliance are adhered to and stakeholder relationships are managed pro-actively

Operational Excellence:
Ensure effective usage of RFPP platform for effective call planning and execution, business planning and opportunity pipeline development and implementation
Deliver on Operational Excellence KPIs
